WE ARE UNITED. With immediate effect Pontypridd Town AFC are pleased to confirm that it will play under the new name of PONTYPRIDD UNITED. Authorisation has been pending from both the Board and FAW to confirm this is acceptable.
It gives me great pleasure to confirm that Pontypridd Town AFC will play in the top tier of Welsh football for the 2022/23 season for the first time in the club’s history, after confirmation was received that the FAW Appeals Panel had approved our license application.
